Aircraft Technology (ATech)
To the Knowledge of ATech Candidate Students;
- This program has a Recognized School authorization certificate under SHY-147. To graduate, students must comply with the requirements in the School Status Circular and related legislations under SHY-147 issued by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
- Students who have taken the courses under SHY-147 from an institution that is not authorized within the framework of the relevant legislation should take these courses again.
- It is necessary to receive a committee report from a full-fledged hospital within the last 6 months that there are no health problems that will prevent him from performing his or her profession and/or the task given in the profession. Especially vision loss/deficiency, color blindness, hearing loss/deficiency orthopedic proficiency, etc.)
- Since some of the courses for implementation in this program are held in the facilities of private and official aviation institutions, the students who win this program should not have a fair registration record. Students whose security investigation is negative or do not comply with the order and discipline of these organizations cannot continue this program.
- Students enrolled in this program must obtain the clothing and equipment required by the profession and use it during the training. Color and model are standard uniforms. The provision belongs to the student and is mandatory.
- There are consumables, tools, and equipment expenses to be used in course applications.
- Our program is an associate degree program with 30% English education for 3 years with 1 year of compulsory preparation. Compulsory preparatory training is carried out by Ege University Central Campus (Bornova) School of Foreign Languages. After that, education activities are carried out at Ege University Aviation Campus (Sarnıç - Gaziemir) for 2 years.
- Students have the opportunity to work as part-time students within the university. However, students within this scope can take part-time tasks at the central campus.
Every year, the Aerospace ClusterIng Association grants scholarships to students within the designated quota.
Ege University provides accommodation on its central campus, connected to the Credit and Dormitories Institution and the university.
